What the Smartlead MCP server does

Smartlead's MCP server connects over SSE with an API key in the URL; the help center lists Claude Desktop as the supported client and describes campaign insights, deliverability diagnostics and lead, account and performance data. The Outreach2day MCP server buys and sets up domains and mailboxes, warms them and runs campaigns, and its export tool sends warm mailboxes to Smartlead.

Where each one fits

Smartlead MCP fits when

  • You send from Smartlead and want the assistant to read campaign data and diagnose deliverability there
  • You work in Claude Desktop

Outreach2day MCP fits when

  • You need domains and mailboxes bought and set up from the chat
  • You want warm-up started and tracked per mailbox before the mailboxes reach Smartlead
  • Your assistant is ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, VS Code or another remote MCP client with OAuth sign-in

Using Smartlead MCP and Outreach2day MCP together

Use ours for the infrastructure and Smartlead's for the sequences. The assistant buys domains and mailboxes with our server and runs warm-up; after 14 days it exports the warm mailboxes to the Smartlead account you connected in Outreach2day, after you confirm.

Smartlead's server then reads the campaigns and diagnostics in Smartlead. Mailboxes for Instantly and Smartlead covers the setup.

Questions

Does Smartlead have an official MCP server?

Yes. Smartlead's help center documents an SSE server at mcp.smartlead.ai that authenticates with an API key in the URL and lists Claude Desktop as the supported client.

Can Smartlead's MCP server work in ChatGPT or Cursor?

The help center names Claude Desktop only and says only SSE works for now. Smartlead's blog says any MCP client. Check the help center before you plan on another client.

Can I send Outreach2day mailboxes to Smartlead from the assistant?

Yes. Connect Smartlead in Outreach2day once; the assistant then exports warm mailboxes with export_mailboxes_to_sequencer after you confirm. Their SMTP/IMAP logins go to your Smartlead account.

Does either server buy domains?

Ours does: it checks names, quotes domains and mailboxes and returns a Stripe link you pay. Smartlead's MCP pages do not describe buying domains.
