Overview

What Mission Inbox is

Mission Inbox Inc. is a Delaware company with two product lines: outbound infrastructure (mailboxes, dedicated IPs, MI Shield checks, Cubes to keep clients apart) and a developer API for transactional email. It says it is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant.

It is not a sequencer. Its FAQ says it does not build campaigns, manage contacts or write sequences; the mailboxes connect to Instantly, Smartlead, Apollo, EmailBison, PlusVibe, Outreach or Salesloft, and the campaigns stay there. Domains come from a marketplace in the app where aged domains are bought or leased; prices are behind the login.

MI Shield scans content, headers and DNS before a message leaves and blocks risky ones. Cubes give each client, brand or workload its own domains, mailboxes and routes.

Its own mailboxes on dedicated IPs for cold email, connected to your sequencer, plus an API for transactional email; billed per plan, per mailbox and per 1,000 sends source (opens the vendor's page in a new tab)

Add-ons and extra costs

Three moving parts. A plan: Lite $50 a month with 15 mailboxes and 5,000 sends, where sending pauses at either limit until you upgrade, or Scale $199 with 30 mailboxes and 10,000 sends. Mailboxes past 30 on Scale: $3 each to 1,000, $2.25 to 3,000, $1.75 to 5,000 and $1.50 above, each rate on its own band. Sends past the allowance: $1 per 1,000, rounded up, with no volume discount.

Warmup emails count as sends, and Mission Inbox's own warmup is $2 a mailbox a month on top, included mailboxes too. Mailboxes are billed on the month's peak count, and usage is charged in arrears at renewal. No separate price is published for the dedicated IPs.

Outreach2day is one line: $2.50 a mailbox up to 99, $1.50 from 100 and $0.50 from 1,000, with warmup, its own sequencer and every email a mailbox sends in the price.

Compared at the same emails a day, each vendor at its own published emails per mailbox a day: a cheap mailbox that sends 5 a day costs more per email than one that sends 25. Mailboxes = emails a day ÷ emails per mailbox a day (Mission Inbox: 30, its calculator's 660 emails per mailbox a month over 22 sending days; sends billed at $1 per 1,000 over 10,000, warmup sends left out; Outreach2day: 25). A month is 22 sending days, so emails a month = emails a day × 22. Monthly list prices on monthly billing; the Instantly plan is the cheapest one that covers the volume. Mission Inbox does not publish a domain price, so its domains (3 mailboxes each) are left out of the total, marked "from"; Outreach2day .com domains at $13 a year, 5 mailboxes per domain. Domains spread over 12 months. Outreach2day mailboxes on comparison pages: $2.50 a mailbox up to 99, $1.50 from 100, $0.50 from 1,000; larger volumes on the Enterprise plan. A mailbox-only vendor cannot send campaigns on its own, so its total is the full sending setup: its mailboxes, domains and the sequencer plan that covers the volume. Instantly is the reference sequencer, on its published plans for the emails and new contacts a month (emails ÷ 3); Smartlead where Instantly publishes no plan; Mailforge with Salesforge, because its mailboxes cannot be warmed in Instantly. The mailbox line is listed on its own in every cell.

Mission Inbox publishes no daily number per mailbox; its calculator sizes 660 emails per mailbox a month, which the table reads as 30 a day over 22 sending days. 2,500 a day is 84 mailboxes: Scale $199, 54 mailboxes at $3 ($162) and 46,000 sends over the allowance ($46), plus Instantly Hypergrowth ($97) and domains from its marketplace: $504 a month before domains. 5,000 a day is $895 and 25,000 is $3,858.

The table counts cold emails only. Warmup emails from Instantly or Mission Inbox's own warmup also count as sends at $1 per 1,000, and its warmup adds $2 a mailbox, so the real bill is higher. Outreach2day is $171.67, $343.33 and $716.67 at the three volumes with warmup, our sequencer and domains, or $268.67, $527.33 and $1,422.67 with our mailboxes in Instantly.

What Mission Inbox does well

  • Dedicated IPs listed on every plan
  • MI Shield checks content and DNS before each send
  • Cubes to keep each client's sending apart
  • A REST API and SMTP with SDKs in six languages

Verdict

Mission Inbox suits teams that want their own sending layer under an existing sequencer, with checks before each send and clients kept apart. The price is built for usage: at 2,500 cold emails a day you pay the Scale plan, 54 extra mailboxes and 46,000 extra sends before any warmup emails.

Outreach2day mailboxes run on our own infrastructure and land in the inbox, with warmup and our sequencer in the price and no charge per email. All in, 2,500 a day is $171.67 a month against $504 before domains with Mission Inbox and Instantly; at 25,000 a day it is $716.67 against $3,858.

Mailboxes = emails a day ÷ emails per mailbox a day (Mission Inbox: 30; Outreach2day: 25). A month is 22 sending days, so emails a month = emails a day × 22. The Instantly plan is the published plan that covers the volume (its contacts and emails); where a vendor publishes no price at that size, the cell says so and the chart leaves it out. Domains at each vendor's published price spread over 12 months; Outreach2day .com domains at $13 a year, 5 mailboxes per domain, are in every total.

Switching

Moving from Mission Inbox to Outreach2day

  1. Keep your sequencer

Connect Instantly or Smartlead in Outreach2day with an API key and the warm mailboxes are added to your account; other tools take a CSV in their import format, or SMTP/IMAP logins. How the export works

  2. Or move the campaigns

Our sequencer runs campaigns with steps, a send schedule, stop on reply and one inbox for replies; import the contacts as a CSV and recreate the steps. The mailbox price stays $2.50.

  3. Warmup and the overlap

New mailboxes warm for 14 days before cold email, and warmup keeps running after that. Keep the Mission Inbox mailboxes sending during those two weeks, then shift the volume and cancel Mission Inbox for the end of its billing period.

Mission Inbox renews every 30 days without proration and bills the month's peak mailbox count, so lower the count before a renewal date. Usage up to the end of the cycle is billed after you cancel.

In detail

Mission Inbox pros and cons

Pros, from Mission Inbox's own pages: dedicated IPs on every plan; MI Shield checks before sending; Cubes per client; a REST API and SMTP with SDKs in six languages; integrations with the main sequencers and CRMs; phone support and a free deliverability call.

Cons: a bill that grows three ways (mailboxes, sends, warmup credits); warmup emails billed as sends; peak-count billing; usage charges never refunded; domain prices hidden behind the login; no MCP server; and no daily sending number per mailbox, only 660 a month in its calculator.

Dedicated or shared IPs

The home and pricing pages say every mailbox runs on dedicated IPs that are yours alone. Section 4.1 of its terms says Mission Inbox "operates shared IP infrastructure" and that a customer over the complaint limits hurts others on the same IP pool. Ask which one your account gets before you move volume.

The terms that matter

Plans renew every 30 days with no proration. The plan fee is refundable only within 2 calendar days of a renewal; mailbox, domain, send and credit charges are never refunded. Cancelling stops future renewals, and usage up to the end of the paid cycle is still billed.

Before a chargeback you must use its dispute process; a chargeback without it means suspension, a permanent ban and collections. Complaint rate above 1% or hard bounces above 4% can suspend the account.

FAQ

Mission Inbox review: questions

How much does Mission Inbox cost?

Lite is $50 a month for 15 mailboxes and 5,000 sends; Scale is $199 for 30 mailboxes and 10,000 sends, then $3 a mailbox to 1,000, $2.25 to 3,000, $1.75 to 5,000 and $1.50 above, plus $1 per 1,000 sends. Its warmup is $2 a mailbox a month.

What does the $1 per 1,000 emails cover?

Every send over the plan's allowance on Scale and Pro, rounded up to the next 1,000, with no volume discount. Warmup emails count as sends.

Does Mission Inbox charge for IPs?

Dedicated IPs are listed in every plan, and no separate IP price is published. Its calculator says final pricing depends on the dedicated IP allocation, and its terms describe shared IP infrastructure.

Is Mission Inbox a sequencer?

No, by its own FAQ. Campaigns, contacts and replies stay in Instantly, Smartlead, Apollo or another tool, and Mission Inbox is the sending layer under them.

Does Mission Inbox refund?

The plan fee within 2 calendar days of a renewal, for an account in good standing. Mailbox, domain, send and credit charges are never refunded.

Is Mission Inbox legit?

Mission Inbox Inc. is a Delaware corporation with public terms and billing policy and a SOC 2 Type 2 claim. Its Trustpilot page showed 4.3 out of 5 from 9 reviews on 2026-10-22.
