ScaledMail Plans and Prices

ScaledMail sells done-for-you mailboxes on three providers. You can mix them in one order: "Select Google, Outlook, or SMTP, mix & match".

The per-mailbox figures for Outlook and SMTP are our division of the domain price by the mailbox count. The sending caps matter for cost: at 10 emails a day, Outlook and SMTP mailboxes send 40% of what a Google mailbox sends at 25 a day, so you need 2.5 times as many mailboxes for the same volume.

The pricing page has no yearly plan. On contracts it says: "No long-term contracts required. ScaledMail packages are billed monthly and you can adjust your volume, swap providers, or cancel at any time."

The pricing page gives setup time as 24 to 72 hours. The home page says 2 to 4 business days.

What the Plan Includes

  • Mailboxes on Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or SMTP, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured.

  • Separate tenants per customer. The site says: "Each customer is assigned separate and isolated tenants, so the infrastructure is not shared."

  • Setup at no charge: "There are no hidden fees for setup or configuration."

  • The pricing page says packages include "domains, full DNS authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), IP rotation, and managed mailboxes with continuous reputation monitoring." The site does not publish what a domain costs.

Not included: warm-up and a sending engine. The pricing page says: "Warmup runs in your sequencer (Smartlead, Instantly, EmailBison, PlusVibe), so you're not double-paying for what your sending tool already does."

What ScaledMail Costs at 25, 100 and 400 Mailboxes

Monthly cost on the Google Workspace plan. The full setup adds warm-up and a sending engine: we use the cheapest Instantly plan that covers 550 cold emails per mailbox a month (25 a day on 22 working days), because Instantly includes warm-up in the plan. That is the same model as our provider comparison. Domains and the reporting add-on are left out.

On Outlook or SMTP, the 10-a-day cap means 2.5 times the mailboxes for the same emails. On SMTP ($3.75 per domain of 4 mailboxes) the full setup with Instantly is $157, $333.25 and $1,121.50 (16, 63 and 250 domains). On Outlook ($50 per domain of 25 mailboxes) it is $247, $597 and $2,184 (3, 10 and 40 domains). Outreach2day costs less on every provider and at every size. With the reporting add-on on Google, add $2 per mailbox a month.

ScaledMail vs Outreach2day

Outreach2day charges $2.50 per mailbox a month with warm-up and a sending engine (campaigns, sequences, one inbox for replies) and analytics included, from 12 mailboxes, billed monthly. Domains are $13 a year for a .com and $5 for a .info. See pricing.

At the same email volume, the full setup costs less with us on all three ScaledMail providers: $62.50 against $157 to $184.50 at 25 mailboxes. Our mailboxes send up to 25 cold emails a day, not 10, and warm-up and the sending engine are in the $2.50.

Differences to know: ScaledMail sells Google Workspace, Outlook and SMTP mailboxes in one order; ours are SMTP/IMAP. Our mailboxes sync to Instantly and Smartlead if you keep your sequencer. For every provider scored on the same rules, see cold email infrastructure providers compared.
