Mailforge vs InboxKit: shared-IP SMTP in the Forge stack against Google and Microsoft from a wallet

They look similar on price and differ on everything else. Mailforge sells SMTP slots on shared IPs, 10 at least, with warm-up and sending in other Forge products. InboxKit sells Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 mailboxes one at a time, warm-up as a $3 add-on.

  • Warm-up and sending included
  • $2.50 a mailbox, 12 minimum

Cost at 25 mailboxes

Mailforge's calculator: $75 a month on monthly billing for 25 SMTP mailboxes, plus .com domains at $14 a year. Warm-up means a Warmforge subscription; sending means Salesforge or another sequencer.

InboxKit: $75 a month for 25 Google or Microsoft mailboxes on monthly billing, $62.50 on annual, plus $75 if every mailbox gets Isolated Warmup. Domains through InboxKit start at $2 a year. A sequencer is still extra.

At volume Mailforge pulls ahead on the slot price ($2.00 above 1,000 monthly), while InboxKit stays at $3.00 monthly whatever the count.

Where they differ

Shared SMTP or provider accounts

Mailforge mailboxes are SMTP/IMAP on IPs shared with other customers; Forge's help center says that makes deliverability depend partly on other users. InboxKit mailboxes are real Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts, each domain with its own admin panel.

How you pay

Mailforge bills slots, used or not, monthly or yearly, and cancelling needs a chat request seven days before the term ends. InboxKit draws each mailbox from a prepaid wallet on its own renewal date. Neither refunds unused time.

API and AI agents

Both have REST APIs. Mailforge is also covered by the shared Forge MCP server; InboxKit has no MCP server we could find, but its API has webhooks.

Which one to pick

Pick Mailforge if

  • SMTP is fine for your list and you want the lowest slot price at volume
  • You already use Salesforge or Warmforge
  • You want MCP access to provisioning

Pick InboxKit if

  • You need Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts
  • You need fewer than 10 mailboxes
  • You want webhooks on mailbox events

Where Outreach2day fits

We sell cold email mailboxes too, so this section is ours. The comparison above does not rank us.

Outreach2day is SMTP/IMAP like Mailforge, but warm-up and sending are in the $2.50 instead of two more subscriptions: 25 mailboxes cost $62.50 a month all in. We run an MCP server and a REST API. We sell no Google or Microsoft accounts, which is InboxKit's ground.

From 1,000 mailboxes Outreach2day quotes a volume price below the per-mailbox list price of every vendor in our comparisons, including Maildoso's $0.49, with warm-up and sending in the price. Book a call and we quote your volume.
