Overview

What GMass is

GMass adds a button to Gmail's compose window: you write the email, point it at a Google Sheet or a list, and GMass sends it as a mail merge with follow-up steps. Every plan sends unlimited emails to unlimited contacts from the account it is on, within Google's limits.

The company is GMass, Inc., a Delaware corporation. It sells no mailboxes or domains and has no lead database; it verifies emails for free and builds lists from your own Gmail.

For more than one account it has MultiSend, which spreads one campaign over extra Gmail or Workspace accounts that need no GMass subscription of their own. Its own pages disagree on the entry plan for it: the pricing page ticks it from Premium, the MultiSend guide says Professional and Team.

Add-ons and extra costs

Standard is $29.95 a month and now includes sequences and follow-ups; Premium at $39.95 adds the API, Zapier, A/B tests and triggered emails; Professional at $59.95 adds email and high-priority support. Yearly billing brings them to $20, $29 and $49 a month. Team plans run $175 a month for 5 users to $2,200 for 100.

The less visible line is outside SMTP: sending through any SMTP server costs $5 per 10,000 messages. GMass's ColdSMTP shared server is $99 a month on top of a plan, by application, and a custom tracking domain set up by GMass is $50 once. Every plan and add-on is in GMass pricing.

Why each GMass plan

Priced as Professional plus the SMTP fee with Outreach2day mailboxes and domains, GMass is $180 a month at 1,000 emails a day, $658 at 5,000 and $1,257 at 10,000. The SMTP fee grows with volume: $11, $55 and $110.

That is the SMTP route, and GMass does not document rotating hundreds of SMTP mailboxes in one campaign. The route GMass itself describes is Google Workspace accounts rotated by MultiSend, each with a Google seat on Google's bill and warmup bought somewhere else.

Outreach2day all-in is $109, $543 and $1,087 at the same volumes: mailboxes, warmup and the sequencer, with no browser extension and no Google seats.

In detail

Warmup and sending limits

GMass shut its warmup down on January 31, 2023, so new accounts warm up in another tool or not at all. Each account sends within Google's limits: up to 500 emails a day from a gmail.com address and 2,000 from Google Workspace.

For deliverability it offers the Spam Solver, a free inbox tester with 17 seed addresses and a custom tracking domain. It runs no inbox rotation across SMTP mailboxes beyond the outside-SMTP route.

API, MCP and support

The REST API, Zapier and webhooks start on Premium. We found no official MCP server on gmass.co, so an AI assistant reaches GMass only through the API.

Support tickets go through a form, and GMass says not all are answered; email support and high priority are on Professional and Team. There is no standard refund window: refunds are given in specific cases, such as a charge on the wrong account or a plan adjusted automatically.

Is GMass worth it?

For one person sending a few hundred personal emails a day from Gmail, yes: the 7-day trial needs no card, campaigns run from a Google Sheet and the price is one account. Past two or three accounts the cost moves to Google seats and a separate warmup tool.

The GMass alternatives page prices five options for teams that outgrow Gmail.
