Maildoso vs Zapmail: cheap SMTP volume against Google and Microsoft mailboxes with warm-up handled

Maildoso lists the lower mailbox price of the two, $0.75 at 300 and $0.49 at 1,000, but its SMTP mailboxes send 15 cold emails a day and you bring warm-up. Zapmail sells Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 mailboxes with warm-up handled. Both run an MCP server; neither sends campaigns.

  • Warm-up and sending included
  • $2.50 a mailbox, 12 minimum

Cost at 30 and 100 mailboxes

30 mailboxes: Maildoso's entry pack is $75 a month; Zapmail Growth is $99. Maildoso adds a warm-up tool and $15 a domain a year; Zapmail domains are $13 and warm-up is part of the service.

100 mailboxes: Maildoso has no 100 pack, so you buy 300 for $225 or a custom count in the app at an unpublished price. Zapmail Pro is $299 for exactly 100, or $250 a month on yearly billing.

Count sends, too. 100 Maildoso mailboxes send up to 1,500 cold emails a day at the 15 cap. Zapmail publishes no cap for standard mailboxes; if you send 25 a day from each, 100 of them send 2,500.

Where they differ

Mailbox type decides most of it

Maildoso is SMTP on its own servers and IPs, with IP rotation and self-healing. Its Google Workspace product is closed to new mailboxes. Zapmail is Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 only, one domain per workspace, on US or EU IPs.

If your prospects are company addresses and you test placement, SMTP can work well. If your buyers sit on Google or Microsoft and you want the same provider, Maildoso is out of the running.

Warm-up and recipients

Maildoso does no warm-up and requires 14+ days in an outside tool. Its terms also forbid sending to personal webmail such as Gmail addresses.

Zapmail's FAQ says it handles warm-up and it sells pre-warmed mailboxes that send from day one, at $39 for 3 in the first month.

AI agents

Both publish hosted MCP servers. Maildoso's uses the same token as its API. Zapmail's uses OAuth 2.1 and exposes 134 tools, including billing and workspaces.

Refunds

Maildoso offers a 30-day guarantee that pays only when mailboxes fail to send for 3+ days through its fault. Zapmail refunds duplicate billing or a setup not done within 7 business days. Neither refunds because results were poor.

Which one to pick

Pick Maildoso if

  • You run hundreds of SMTP mailboxes and already pay for warm-up and a sequencer
  • You send only to company addresses and already have warm-up and a sequencer
  • 15 cold emails per mailbox a day is enough

Pick Zapmail if

  • You need Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailboxes
  • You want warm-up handled, or pre-warmed mailboxes
  • You buy in blocks of 10, 30 or 100

Where Outreach2day fits

We sell cold email mailboxes too, so this section is ours. The comparison above does not rank us.

Outreach2day sits between them. Like Maildoso, our mailboxes are SMTP/IMAP; unlike it, warm-up and a sending engine are in the $2.50, and each mailbox sends up to 25 cold emails a day from 12 mailboxes.

Like Zapmail, we run an MCP server, and setup is a few minutes. We sell no Google or Microsoft mailboxes, so if that is the requirement, Zapmail is the one of us three to pick.

From 1,000 mailboxes Outreach2day quotes a volume price below the per-mailbox list price of every vendor in our comparisons, including Maildoso's $0.49, with warm-up and sending in the price. Book a call and we quote your volume.
