Ranked

Why each one is a Mailreef alternative

We make Outreach2day and list it first.

  1. 1. Outreach2day: mailboxes, warmup and a sequencer in one bill

The same kind of SMTP/IMAP mailbox, without a server to size: $2.50 a mailbox from 12, warmup for the life of the mailbox and our own sequencer with a reply inbox included, month to month. No dedicated IP; if your own IP is the reason you chose Mailreef, the next three keep one. Our mailboxes also sync to Instantly and Smartlead by API key.

    Per mailbox a month

    from $2.50

  2. 2. Infraforge: dedicated IPs priced per mailbox

Dedicated IPs without renting a whole server: $4 a mailbox a month billed quarterly, down to $2.50 on yearly 1,000+ slots, up to 40 mailboxes per IP and $99 a month for each extra IP. It has an API and the Forge MCP server; warmup is Warmforge, sold separately, and Forge refunds nothing.

  3. 3. Mailpool: a dedicated IP at a lower entry price

$200 a month per dedicated IP ($170 on annual billing) with unlimited inboxes and up to 100,000 emails a month, next to shared SMTP inboxes from $3 and Google or Microsoft inboxes. Warmup is built in on paid slots; the API is given on request.

  4. 4. Inframail: a flat rate with a dedicated US IP

$147 every 28 days for unlimited Microsoft-backed inboxes on one dedicated US IP, up to 400 inboxes recommended and 80,000 cold emails a month; the Agency Pack is $387 for 3 IPs and 300,000. Warmup runs in your own tool, and a 30-day money-back guarantee covers hosting.

  5. 5. Maildoso: shared SMTP sold in packs

If the dedicated server matters less than the price: SMTP packs of $75 for 30, $225 for 300 and $499 for 1,000 a month, synced to Instantly, Smartlead and EmailBison, with an API and an MCP server. Like Mailreef it leaves warmup to an outside tool, and it caps sends at 15 per mailbox a day.

  6. 6. Mailforge: shared-IP SMTP slots

Mailreef runs a comparison page against Mailforge, and the difference is the infrastructure: Mailforge slots are $3 a month on shared IPs, $2 above 1,000, with a public API and the Forge MCP server. Warmup is Warmforge and sending is Salesforge, both separate.

  7. 7. Zapmail: Google and Microsoft instead of SMTP

If you leave SMTP altogether: Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailboxes at $39 for 10, $99 for 30 and $299 for 100 a month, warmup handled per its FAQ, pre-warmed mailboxes and a hosted MCP server with 134 tools.

100 mailboxes each. Mailreef and its alternatives at the same mailbox count. Monthly list prices on monthly billing; sending volume = mailboxes × each vendor's recommended emails per mailbox a day × 22 sending days, with the cheapest plan of the sequencer named in each row that covers it (Instantly unless the vendor's mailboxes need another; both include warmup). Domains at each vendor's published price spread over 12 months; "from" means a domain price is not published.

At 100 mailboxes and 25 cold emails each a day, the mailboxes send 55,000 cold emails a month. That is past the 50,000 Mailreef's help center sets for one server, so the table counts two servers on Agency Flex ($498) plus $55 in sends and Instantly Hypergrowth for warmup and sending: from $650 a month, before domains whose price Mailreef does not publish. Up to 90 mailboxes fit one server at that rate: $249 plus $49.50 in sends, before the sequencer.

Infraforge with Instantly is $536.67, Zapmail $432.83, Mailforge with Salesforge from $339.67 and Maildoso $338.25. Outreach2day is $271.67 with warmup, the sequencer and 20 domains. Each vendor is counted at its own recommended daily volume, so the per-1,000-emails chart is the fair comparison. Mailreef does not say whether warmup sends count toward the $0.001 fee; we price cold sends only.

Switching

Moving from Mailreef to Outreach2day

  1. Keep your sequencer

Connect Instantly or Smartlead in Outreach2day with an API key and the warm mailboxes are added to your account; other tools take a CSV in their import format, or SMTP/IMAP logins. How the export works

  2. Or move the campaigns

Our sequencer runs campaigns with steps, a send schedule, stop on reply and one inbox for replies; import the contacts as a CSV and recreate the steps. The mailbox price stays $2.50.

  3. Warmup and the overlap

New mailboxes warm for 14 days before cold email, and warmup keeps running after that. Keep the Mailreef mailboxes sending during those two weeks, then shift the volume and cancel Mailreef for the end of its billing period.

Agency Flex is month to month; the Agency plan is a 12-month commitment. Mailreef's terms say payments are not refundable under any circumstances, and a downgrade starts a 120-day period in which servers or IPs cannot be added back.

Choosing

Why Mailreef buyers look elsewhere

The unit you buy is a server. $249 a month buys the same server whether 10 or 150 mailboxes sit on it, and the help center ties it to 50,000 cold and 50,000 warmup emails a month: about 90 mailboxes at 25 a day, or 45 at the 50 a day Mailreef allows. Past that the answer is another server.

The rest of the bill is outside Mailreef: a warmup tool at a 1:1 cold-to-warm ratio, a sequencer, and domains at a price it does not publish, with 3 mailboxes per domain at most. Every customer is screened and approved before access, there is no free trial, and nothing is refunded. Every plan, limit and term with its source is in the Mailreef review.

If the dedicated IP is the reason

Infraforge, Mailpool and Inframail keep an IP of your own and price it differently: per mailbox with $99 extra IPs, $200 per IP with unlimited inboxes, or a flat $147 with one US IP. If the IP was a means to better placement rather than the goal, test placement on your own list first. Outreach2day includes Google and Outlook placement tests for every mailbox.

Moving off Mailreef

Moving a domain's MX records away from Mailreef stops its mailboxes there, and a new sending IP means warming up again: Mailreef's own help center gives 14 to 30 days for mailboxes moved in from Google or Outlook. Domains Mailreef buys for you are purchased on your behalf under its terms.

The clean path is new domains on the new provider while the Mailreef server keeps sending. On Outreach2day warmup starts when the mailboxes appear, and each sends up to 25 cold emails a day from day 14; then pause the Mailreef mailboxes campaign by campaign and cancel Agency Flex.

Outreach2day

Outreach2day as a Mailreef alternative

We make Outreach2day and list it first. Where it fits and where it does not.

It fits if

  • You run 1,000+ mailboxes: we quote a volume price below every vendor list price in our comparisons, warmup and sending included
  • You want mailboxes, warmup and the sequencer in one bill instead of a server, a warmup tool and a sequencer
  • You want to start at 12 mailboxes, $30 a month, billed month to month
  • You want a REST API and an MCP server for domains, mailboxes, warmup and campaigns

It does not fit if

  • You need a dedicated server or IP of your own
  • You want more than 25 cold emails per mailbox a day
  • You need Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts
