Short answer

Why teams pick Outreach2day over Reply.io

  1. Mailboxes, warmup and sequencer in one price

$2.50 a mailbox a month covers all three. Reply's Email Volume plan for 5,000 emails a day is $499 before its $5 mailboxes and domains.

  2. One price per mailbox

Reply bills every contact emailed in a month, and again when a sequence runs into the next month. Our bill moves with the mailbox count, whatever the list size.

  3. Mailboxes you can take with you

SMTP/IMAP mailboxes on your own domains, logins in your hands. Reply's terms say its mailboxes are not portable and need an active subscription.

  4. An MCP server that sets up the sending

24 MCP tools buy domains and mailboxes, start warmup, build and launch campaigns and read replies, so an AI agent can run the setup end to end.

Reply.io does more around the email: LinkedIn, call and SMS steps, CRM sync with HubSpot and Salesforce, a 1-billion-contact data search and Jason, its AI SDR. Outreach2day has none of those. If your sequences depend on them, keep Reply and compare only the mailboxes.

25 cold emails per mailbox a day and 5 mailboxes per domain: 1,000 a day = 40 mailboxes, 8 domains, 22,000 emails a month; 5,000 a day = 200 mailboxes, 40 domains, 110,000 emails a month; 10,000 a day = 400 mailboxes, 80 domains, 220,000 emails a month (22 sending days). Monthly list prices on monthly billing; .com domains at $13 a year spread over 12 months.

Why each Reply.io plan

At 1,000 emails a day the 7,300 new contacts a month already need Reply's 10,000 tier at $179, so the setup is $383 with Reply's mailboxes and $109 with ours. At 5,000 a day it is $1,519 against $543, at 10,000 a day $3,039 against $1,087.

Keeping Reply and moving only the mailboxes to Outreach2day brings those to $288, $1,042 and $2,086: the contact-based plan stays the biggest line.

Both setups are priced at 25 cold emails per mailbox a day. Outreach2day mailboxes warm up for 14 days and send from day 14, and warmup keeps running after that.

The details

Sequences on both sides

Reply's sequences mix email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and WhatsApp tasks, with conditions, triggers and unlimited A/B variations of an email step, and every reply lands in one master inbox.

Outreach2day campaigns are email sequences: follow-up steps with wait times, spintax and lead variables from your CSV, a send window by weekday and time zone, daily caps, stop on reply, and one replies inbox with interested, neutral or not-interested labels. There is no open or click tracking.

Who owns the mailboxes

Reply's mailbox terms say mailboxes bought through Reply are tied to its provider's reseller environment, are not portable to standalone Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts, and stay accessible only while the Reply subscription is active. Domains can move to another registrar once their mailboxes are terminated and a 60-day lock has passed.

Outreach2day mailboxes are SMTP/IMAP on your domains. The app exports them as a CSV in Reply's import format, so you can keep Reply as the sequencer and send from our mailboxes, or move them to any other tool later.

AI agents and MCP

Reply runs an official MCP server that connects with an API key or OAuth on all plans, and sells Jason, an AI SDR that prospects and books meetings, from $800 a month.

Our MCP server has 24 tools across domains, mailboxes, warmup, campaigns, stats and replies. An assistant like Claude can price and order the mailboxes, start warmup, write the sequence and launch it, with every order paid through Stripe checkout after you approve it.
