Per user or per volume

Mailshake's Starter is $29 per user for 1,500 emails a month and one mail account; Email Outreach ($49) and Sales Engagement ($99) remove the email cap and give 2 or 10 mail accounts per user. You can buy users only for their mail accounts, so the mailbox count drives the bill.

Instantly's plans are priced by emails a month and uploaded contacts: Growth $47 for 5,000 emails, Hypergrowth $97 for 125,000 and 25,000 contacts, plus $87 add-ons. Mail accounts are unlimited on every plan.

Channels beyond email

Sales Engagement includes a power dialer with 5 phone numbers and 100 free minutes per user a month, phone and LinkedIn tasks done by hand, and 2,500 Data Finder credits; unlimited Data Finder is $19 a month.

Instantly keeps calls, SMS and LinkedIn connections in a CRM add-on at $47 or $97 a month, and its SuperSearch database on a separate Credits plan.

Limits, API and terms

Mailshake caps Microsoft and SMTP accounts at 1,000 emails a day and rotates up to 50 addresses in one campaign, so 400 mailboxes run across 8 or more campaigns. Instantly recommends 30 campaign emails per account a day.

Both have a REST API; Instantly also runs an MCP server at mcp.instantly.ai, and Mailshake lists none. Mailshake has no free trial and takes payment up front; Instantly's trial is 14 days without a card. Both make fees non-refundable.

Outreach2day mailboxes connect to both: synced into Instantly by API key, or exported as a CSV in Mailshake's bulk-import template, at $2.50 a mailbox with warmup included. In Mailshake the mailbox count still sets the number of users you pay for.

Is Mailshake cheaper than Instantly?

For one or two senders, the entry plans are close: $29 per user against $47. Past 10 mailboxes Mailshake needs another user for each 10, so at 200 mailboxes its plan is $1,980 a month against Instantly's $184.

How many mailboxes does a Mailshake user get?

1 on Starter, 2 on Email Outreach and 10 on Sales Engagement, per its pricing page.

Does Mailshake sell mailboxes?

Yes: $12 a month for one domain with 5 mailboxes, set up and connected for you. Instantly sells done-for-you Google accounts at $5 each.
